44th Annual Holiday Benefit

"Snow Ball"

The Pasadena Children’s Guild, a non-profit organization, is enthusiastically preparing for their 44th Annual Holiday Benefit, “Snow Ball”.  As a non-profit auxiliary group for Young & Healthy, the Pasadena Children’s Guild annually contributes ALL profits from the Benefit to this nationally recognized and award-winning program!

Young & Healthy is an independent, non-profit organization formed in 1990 in response to a survey showing more than one-third of Pasadena’s children have no medical care.  Through this outstanding program, medical, dental, and psychological treatment and education are provided annually to over 6,500 low-income and uninsured children in the Greater Pasadena areas.

This year’s benefit will be an elegant affair presented at the historic Castle Green, and is comprised of an evening Preview Party and Auction followed the next day by a Holiday Boutique. Local restaurants donate food and wine for both the night of the Preview Party and the day of the Boutique.  

Our 2010 Benefit enabled the Pasadena Children’s Guild to present Young & Healthy with a check for $84,000 which is nearly 10% of Young and Healthy’s yearly operation budget.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from the local companies, restaurants, guild members and ultimately our guests.
